You see, I genuinely do care about your after sales experience, and if the company wont honor their guarantee for any reason, I'll personally go in to fight for you and your right to a refund. I've only had to do this with one customer, but he got his refund:

TESTIMONIAL: "I sent them an email last December 2008 that I would like to return the" product "unused  for money back guarantee. I also asked them to email me the right address where i could send back...I sent back...last January 7, 2009 with an Order number 3990339894 but until now i did not receive a refund..." J. March 3rd, 2009.

So I contacted the company, gave them the receipts for the return postage, and they refunded him the money. They said the product was never received back, hence they were not going to refund, but in view that it was genuinely lost in the mail, they would do so this time. It's always a good idea when returning products, to keep proof of return postage, and it's even better to return it by registered mail. After he received his refund, the chap wrote this to me:

"Dear Donald, Thank you so much! Words is not enough to thank you about this and to tell you that you really did a great job. I’ll visit again your website and read more about it ... I might order something but if not then I will give a sort of donation since I really appreciate your help and service to other people. I know it’s coming from your heart and because of your faith to God. I wish you and your family a nice weeekend! Best regards, J". March 6th, 2009.

The terrible truth about customer reviews - the dark side of human nature and hemorrhoid treatment.

As I surf the web, to see if any better hemorid treatment has come a long, I keep bumping into customer reviews. In other words, in customer reviews, so many customers have reviewed a particular hemorrhoid treatment, and so many give it a score out of 5, 10 or a 100 for how well it works, their satisfaction, ease of use ... You get the picture. Sounds good for comparing one hemorrhoid treatment to another, but the problem is, that customer reviews are often vetted before being allowed to appear, so if too many customers give a product the web site wants you to buy, the thumbs down, the comments may be excluded from the reviews you see or the stats you are being told. It's a way of deceiving you. Likewise, if a product is getting too much positive feedback and it's not the product they are really wanting to sell you, well, it's just as easy to remove the positives as well. I've been around the internet a long time, and I know the history of many of the hemorrhoid/hemorrhoid/pile websites, and I see how they change and do things - it's often not pretty.

Also, when you look at all those nice reviews with those stats and scores designed to convince you of the web sites validity and honesty, and that this is the product you should buy, consider this, affiliates for the various hemorrhoid treatment options running many of these sites don't have knowledge of who buys a product and who doesn't, so if someone claims these stats etc to be genuine, how do they know? It could be just someone claiming to have used the product, or a company rep bolstering their products image or vandalizing a competitors product image (quite common I believe). Such reviews, by and large, I believe to be hoaxes and scams.

Some of you may know about the new federal laws for US web sites, that affilliates have to declare they are making money out of their reviews when reffering customers to product sites, well, many links went underground to get round the federal advertising laws. What I mean by that, is that they are still collecting commissions based on you buying, but they don't tell you that, and the web site isn't using affiliate links to identify it as such, the company they are selling for is using programs to identify which web site you came from for working out the commissions, thereby averting federal law rather nicely. So with these nasty, deceiving, affiliate review sites, well, you just cant recognise them from any other review site now, and the really sad part is, some of them have become quite dominant in the search results, and probably occur more often than bona fide ones - such unscrupulous web site owners often go out and buy links to push themselves up in the results, in fact, in the last couple of months, I saw one hemorrhoid site buy thousands of links, including links on government trusted web sites.

The other side to review sites, some were bought out by a companies toting certain hemorrhoid products - so they are hardly unbiased reviews, are they?

So if you leave this site and come across these nice reviews that quantify everything, think carefully about the type of site you are actually on.
